With a gap in our team we are in the need of an experienced asphalter with broad skills in civil construction and capable of running a team. About the role:
Reporting to the operations manager, this role is for a working foreman experienced in hand laying Asphalt, but also leading a small crew in the delivery of a variety of general civil construction and road maintenance works, such as trenching and concrete works. This role will be hands on with the successful candidate being a strong all-rounder, capable of operating machinery, all aspects of Asphalt work and leading their crew.
45 Hour average work week and a competitive hourly rate.
Skills and experience:
- Experience working with excavators, concrete and compaction equipment with strong asphalt experience, including joint sealing.
- Practical experience with general civil work including operating machinery.
- Understand Service plans, as builts etc
- Strong communication and leadership ability.
- Strong health and safety focus.
- Full class 1 & 2 licence and WTR preferred.
